Passing the Sniff Test
One of the great pleasures of traveling is finding great restaurants
in out-of-the-way places. We decide where to eat out by the "Sniff
Test". If the restaurant smells good and looks like fun, we'll
give it a try.
Morcels Market Bistro, 5529 Young
Street, Halifax, NS
 We stumbled upon this
pleasant little brasserie while searching for the Italian Market on Young
Street. It's not expensive, definitely passed the sniff test and had
some unusual offerings which were presented beautifully. We recommend
the Rack of Lamb served with a wild mushroom risotto and the Pear and
Roquefort Salad served over a bed of Mesclun greens. |
